The event will be held weather permitting and is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What it is: More than 125 booths full of artisan-made crafts will be available for shoppers to peruse. Face painting and balloon art will be available for children.

TREASURES ON THE CHAIN
CHARITY DINNER-AUCTION

What it is: A charity dinner and live auction, benefiting local charities, which features 50 chests from the 4th annual Treasures on the Chain Charity Public Art Program.

2ND ANNUAL FIREFIGHTER’S
STREET DANCE

What it is: A fun evening of dancing in the street, which supports the Antioch Fire Department.

FALL WINE WALK
ANTIOCH DOWNTOWN,
LAKE AND MAIN STREETS
NOON – 4:30 P.M.

What it is: A social event down town for wine lovers. The event includes a commemorative wine glass, event menu, food, and a bottle of wine. Enthusiasts will be able to taste from a selection of over 45 different wines.

What else you need to know: Participants must be at least 21 years old. The event is $40 per person and tickets must be purchased in person at the Parks Department, 806 Holbek Drive, or online at www.antioch.il.gov. For more information, call (847) 395-2160.

FAMILY KITE FLYING DAY
TIM OSMOND SPORTS COMPLEX, 38 DEPOT ST.

11 A.M. – 5 P.M.

What it is: A free family event. Children will love watching huge kites and stunt kites, and will also enjoy flying their own kites.

What else you need to know: The first 100 kids will receive free kites. There will be kites available for sale as well.

OCT. 26

TREAT THE STREETS
DOWNTOWN ANTIOCH, MAIN STREET

NOON – 3 P.M.

What it is: Trick-or-treating for kids, sponsored by the Village of Antioch and the Antioch business community. Kids and parents will be able to walk around in their costumes, play games, get candy and enjoy entertainment.

NOV. 9

CHOCOLATE AND CHAMPAGNE HOLIDAY WALK
ANTIOCH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, 882 MAIN ST.
1-4 P.M.

What it is: Dine, drink and shop as you stroll through downtown Antioch. The walk includes a tasting at multiple locations, a keepsake glass, and a certificate for a bottle of champagne. Musicians and carolers will provide entertainment.
