Loyola Academy Board welcomes new trustees
Loyola Academy's Board of Trustees has appointed the following new members, effective July 1, 2013:
Terrence M. Belton, Ph.D. is managing director and head of Global Portfolio Strategy for the Chief Investment Office at JP Morgan Chase. Mr. Belton also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Chicago, where he has taught since 1995, and he is a member of the Federal Bank of New York's Financial Advisory Roundtable. He is the co-author of The Treasury Bond Basis (Probus Publishing, 2005) and Eurodollar Future and Options: Controlling Money Market Risk (Probus Publishing, 1991). Formerly, Mr. Belton was head of Global Fixed Income and FX Research at JP Morgan Chase and an economist at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan. He and his wife, Mary Claire, live in Kenilworth with their five children.
Patrick C. Eilers is managing director at Madison Dearborn Partners and is a member of its Basic Industries team where he focuses on energy and power sector investments. Previously, he held positions at Jordan Industries, Inc. and IAI Venture Capital and played professional football with the Minnesota Vikings, the Washington Redskins and the Chicago Bears. He serves as a director on the boards of First Wind Partners, LLC; Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P.; and U.S. Power Generating Company. Mr. Eilers also serves on the College of Engineering Advisory Council at the University of Notre Dame, Hales Franciscan High School and The Arthur J. Schmitt Foundation. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He and his wife, Jana, and their four children reside in Winnetka.
Hon. Amy J. St. Eve serves as a district judge for the Northern District of Illinois of the U.S. District Court for which she was nominated by George W. Bush and received the commission in 2002. Previously, she served as senior counsel at Abbott Laboratories; assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois; associate independent counsel for the Whitewater Independent Counsel's Office in Little Rock, AZ; and was in private practice at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York City. Judge St. Eve is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University's School of Law, where she teacher trial advocacy. She holds a J.D. from the Cornell Law School and currently serves on the Cornell Law School Advisory Council, as well as the Board of Directors of Chicago Posse and the Museum of Science and Industry's Youth Science Engagement Advisory Committee.
