New England Homes debuts its last five luxury condo models, fully packed with upgrades, at Acadia on the Green in downtown Downers Grove on Saturday and Sunday July 14 and 15.

“This is your final opportunity to purchase an elegant condo near the Metra station in the heart of Downers Grove,” said builder Chris Rintz. “You’ll be impressed by the selection of move-in ready, two- and three-bedroom homes affordably priced from $295,900 to $365,900 in this walkable, transit-oriented community.”

The five designer condos are filled with upgraded features and amenities at no additional cost. According to Rintz, “You’re getting a fully-loaded condominium at base sticker prices.” Geared toward the discriminating buyer, these luxurious condos include high-end custom cabinetry, upgraded trim and moldings, wainscoting and granite countertops.

New England Homes will be serving complimentary refreshments throughout the weekend and will raffle off a $100 gift basket each day. The public is invited to join the festivities on Saturday July 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday July 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Rintz said that in today’s market a homebuyer can purchase a new condominium for far less than buying a used condo with similar features.

“Why settle for someone else’s decor and preferences when you can have everything you want at Acadia on the Green?” he said.

Residents enjoy a bustling downtown lifestyle at Acadia on Green. The four-story elevator building houses retail on the first floor and upscale, single-level condominium residences on the upper floors. This mixed-use condominium community is an ideal place where residents can live, work and play in one location.

Geared toward everyone from single professionals to newlyweds, empty-nesters and snowbirds, the community is located steps from the Metra station and offers a 27-minute commute to Chicago.

“Downers Grove has come alive over the past few years,” said Rintz. “Our development is the last piece of the ‘downtown renaissance’, so when it’s gone, it’s gone. Downers Grove is vibrant and active and provides a blend of urban lifestyles without the intensity of living in the city. Acadia truly offers the best of both worlds, where restaurants and entertainment are right outside your door.”

Residents can walk to a variety of nearby establishments, dine at Egg Harbor or Capri Restaurant, do their grocery shopping at the upscale Lemon Tree Grocer, and find everything for the cigar aficionado at The Humidor smoke shop. Additionally, there is a 10,000-square-foot ATI Fitness Center featuring state-of-the-art equipment and personal training.

Remaining condos range in size from approximately 1,400 to 1,700 square feet and feature cozy dens, heated parking and storage, balconies with dual access and panoramic views of downtown. Other important features include 9-foot ceilings, stainless steel kitchen appliances, laundry hook-ups for side-by-side or full-size stackable washer and dryer, wood-cased Weathershield Proshield-clad wood double-glazed windows with low-E glass, painted solid-core smooth six-panel doors with colonial trim, and a secured vestibule entry system.

The sales center is at 945 Burlington Ave. and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

To visit, take Interstate 88 west to the Highland Avenue exit, go south on Highland/Main Street past the Metra tracks, and turn left on Curtiss Street. Then go left on Mochel Drive, and left on Burlington. Call (630) 963-5300 or visit www.live-at-acadia.com.
