National luxury home builder Toll Brothers is hosting a special fall open house event at all eight of its new home communities in South Barrington, Elgin and Morton Grove. The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., this Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 22 and 23.
In addition to touring 12 decorated model homes, the event offers a rare opportunity for visitors to walk through homes under construction.
“With all the construction activity we have under way, buyers have a unique chance to tour a range of home designs at various stages of construction and see various combinations of our customizing options,” said Chris Nickel, senior project manager for Toll Brothers’ Chicago Division. “It’s the ideal time to come out and see all the possibilities you have when you build a Toll Brothers home.”
Toll Brothers is known for the customization opportunities it offers to home buyers. Every home offers hundreds of pre-priced options, from altering floor plans with structural options such as a first-floor in-law suite, expanding the kitchen, finishing the basement, or adding a play room. Pre-priced options also include such personalizing interior appointments as cabinetry, countertop, backsplash, flooring, trim and lighting choices.
The builder has seen a noticeable up tick in interest recently.
“The once-in-a-lifetime mortgage rates are driving buyers to check out what they can afford,” Nickel said. “It’s exciting to show them how much more they will get if they buy today.”
The fall open house event takes place at all eight Toll Brothers communities across Greater Chicagoland.
In Morton Grove, buyers can take advantage of the final opportunity to own one of the stunning rowhomes at The Crossings at Morton Grove. These stylish residences are located just steps from the Metra and start at $347,995, offering three levels of living plus a rooftop deck and a two-car garage. Fall occupancy is available.
In Elgin, buyers can enjoy country club living without the fees at Bowes Creek Country Club, a premier golf club community surrounding the award-winning Rick Jacobson-designed public golf course. Buyers can choose from spacious townhomes or single-family homes with prices starting at $199,995.
Age 50+ buyers will want to find out more about Regency at Bowes Creek Country Club, a gated enclave of ranch and two-story single-family homes and townhomes within the Bowes Creek community designed for those 50 years of age or older. Residents of Regency enjoy access to the private clubhouse which features a pool, fitness center, tennis and bocce courts, a putting green, and a billiard room. Prices start at $199,995.
In South Barrington, Toll Brothers is offering luxury single-family homes from the $700,000s at The Woods of South Barrington. These grand homes include an impressive list of features and the largest home sites offered anywhere in Chicagoland by Toll Brothers.

Adding to the resort-class atmosphere is an on-site social director that keeps a busy and well-rounded schedule of social events. Low-maintenance single-family ranch and two-story homes offer up to 3,400 square feet of living space and begin in the upper $400,00s.
