Finally the housing market is trending upward and heading in a positive direction according to a recent media report.

Since mortgage rates are the best they’ve been in 50 years and home prices have reached their bottom, now is the perfect time to buy a home, according to Gary Levitas president of Northfield Group.

Since the influx of more buyers in the market are already driving prices up, Levitas said potential buyers looking for a luxury townhome should visit Millbrook Pointe and tour the three- and four-bedroom townhomes priced from $289,900 in a premier Wheeling location.

Boasting 15 home sales this year with interest continuing to be strong, Levitas has opened Phase II construction at this upscale townhome community. Construction activity is under way on four buildings, providing customers with an abundance of choices in home style and location.

To celebrate a successful year, Levitas is offering $10,000 worth of incentives that include upgrades such as a finished basement, hardwood floors, high-end appliances and elegant kitchen cabinets, and more. In addition, buyers can take advantage of special financing now available at 2.75 percent.

Levitas said new homes are a greater value than resale homes because buyers get a lot of benefits from a new home designed to their individual tastes. In addition, buyers are getting a new community, the latest amenities and neighbors of other similar-minded families all moving in at the same time.

Millbrook Pointe offers innovative floor plans, and new features and improvements to existing townhome designs at Millbrook Pointe. Premium lots are available and construction can be completed in as little as four months, giving buyers enough time to make their finish selections and customize their homes.

Since every buyer has their own set of preferences, Northfield Group offers buyers total customization within the footprint of their floor plans. Owners have redesigned a layout, modified their kitchen, revamped a bathroom, enlarged a bedroom, plus made a host of other changes.

“We address their expectations and offer many choices to help buyers make their home into a true reflection of their lifestyle,” Levitas said.

Buyers can choose from two upscale townhome plans One offers four bedrooms and 3½ baths with a first-floor master suite. The other is a three-bedroom, 2½-bath traditional layout. Features include separate living room, two-story great room, spacious kitchen with granite countertops and a center island, vaulted ceilings, outdoor deck, and basement with 9-foot ceiling.

If a buyer likes the way a rowhome looks and flows, they may want to check out a charming three-story rowhome design featuring two or three bedrooms and 2½ baths. Two plans showcase a family room that can be converted to a guest suite, an open kitchen, separate living and dining rooms, master bedroom with private balcony, and another large balcony or terrace.

A new floor plan that has garnered attention is the three- or four-bedroom home featuring a spacious kitchen with a breakfast bar, separate dining room and expansive great room. Upstairs, owners can choose a three-bedroom configuration that offers a huge master bedroom with a deluxe bathroom and his and hers walk-in closets, or an elegant four-bedroom plan with a smaller bath.

At Millbrook Pointe, spacious townhomes are crafted to feel like single-family homes. With up to 2,700 square feet of space, they have an abundance of windows that let the outdoors in. Kitchens are roomy and accommodate center islands, while master bedrooms are quite sizeable and are separated from the other bedrooms giving the owner added privacy.
