Buyers love custom option at Millbrook Pointe

Having it just the way you want it is an important selling point for new homebuyers, so when a builder allows his customers total customization inside the footprint of their homes — especially when priced under $300,000 — they are truly happy buyers.
That’s what builder Gary Levitas offers at Millbrook Pointe, an upscale townhome and rowhome community in Wheeling.
Customers usually share their dreams and ideas for their next home with Gary and his wife Marina, who work at the sales office at Millbrook Pointe. They listen to their potential buyer’s dreams and aspirations, and help turn their wish list into reality.
“While we can’t change the exterior footprint of our buildings, we try to meet each buyer’s needs. We can enlarge a bedroom or relocate a bathroom and help them choose their finishes,” Gary said. “I love seeing the looks on their faces when they tour their completed home and it is just as they envisioned, only better. Our goal is to provide our buyers with value and quality. We want them to love their new home and feel that they got a great buy that will appreciate in years to come.”
Levitas was extremely accommodating to Ellen and David Kay, permitting them to customize their home to their heart’s content.
“We selected different cabinets, hardware, backsplash, light fixtures and ceiling fans and then Gary installed all the products we purchased. Dealing with Gary was like working with a custom builder but at production builder pricing,” said Ellen.
Levitas reconfigured the kitchen by adding an additional row of cabinets over and under the existing counter for extra storage. In the master bath, the couple wanted a larger walk-in shower with a shower seat, so the entire bathroom was reconfigured. In the powder room, he substituted a vanity in lieu of the standard pedestal to add counter space.
When Janet Chankin and Barbara Saltzman purchased townhomes, the Millbrook Pointe staff scored kudos from the two women.
“I feel like I’m part of the family because Gary and project manager Greg are so warm and friendly and very helpful,” said Janet.
Construction manager Greg helped them finish their basements, organize their closets and even hung their pictures. They were able to change out bathroom and lighting fixtures and all were installed free of charge
Not only was Levitas accommodating and easy to work with, but he always said “yes” to all requests from first-time buyers Paola and David. He allowed them to customize their home to reflect their lifestyle.
From selecting a special cabinet, vessel sink, and faucet for their bathroom to picking their own light fixtures throughout their home, the builder said OK and made all the installations.
“We saw a contemporary stainless steel backsplash in a model home and Gary bought it and installed it for us at no additional charge.”
They added a pantry in their kitchen and moved the existing water tank to another area of the home.
“Not only did we customize our home from start to finish, but after closing, the Millbrook Pointe team followed up with us to ensure our complete satisfaction,” said David.
Northfield Group installs high-quality products in every home, such as Pella wood windows, solid core six-panel wood doors, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, site-stained wood floors, recessed lighting throughout, 3 ¼-inch base moldings and casings around the windows and doors, large back deck, finished basement and two-car garage.
