Lake Forest's newest fashion boutique CB will celebrate its fall line by participating in the Pioneer Press-sponsored 2012 Fall Trend Fashion Event.
"We are so excited to be a part of this, it's going to be a wonderful event," said Sarah Saddemi, creative director of CB.
CB's owner Mallory Ulaszek opened the boutique in April with the vision of providing urban styles for both men and women. CB is the sister boutique of Cityblue Apparel & Denim in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood.
"This fall is all about people who love clothes," said Ulaszek, who sees a trend of pink hues and whites mixed with the traditional cornucopia of autumnal colors.
"Don't be afraid to experiment," she said. "Something may seem intimidating on the rack (but) it might be a great fit."
CB's No. 1 accessory is Terence, a Pomeranian pup who has become the store's mascot. At under 5 pounds, Terence's wagging tail is the first accessory to greet customers, who have come to love him more than a time-honored fashion piece.
CB features names such as Marc Jacobs, Helmut Lang and Yigal Azrouel. Sunglasses are by French designer Thierry Lasry. CB is located at 662 N. Western Avenue in Lake Forest.
