Vibrato Boutique
Crisp autumn styles replaced tailored military uniforms at Glenview’s Vibrato Boutique in 2005 when the shop opened on former Glenview Naval Air Station land. Responsible for this change is Glenview resident Janice Samberg, who opened the first Vibrato in Wilmette in 1994.
“It is an adventure to shop here, you always find surprises,” shopper Michele Gorski of Glencoe said.
Originally from Montreal, Samberg incorporates her passion for art into every aspect of the boutique.
“Vibrato has a unique selection of clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories from all over the world at all different price ranges,” Samberg said. “Art has always been a big part of my life and that was an inspiration for the design of my store.
Vibrato will be participating in the upcoming Pioneer Press Fall Trend Fashion Event on Oct. 11. On the runway, autumn trends from Vibrato such as leather, chunky sweaters, purple and berry tones will all be showcased.
