Gina Vericella knew Chicago's North Shore was a fashion destination when she opened Gigi BOTTEGA in trendy downtown Evanston in July 2011.
Gigi BOTTEGA, which is still located at its first location in Bloomington, is expanding again, this time to Chicago.
"My store caters to the contemporary woman," said Vericella, who opened that first McLean County store with her mother Bonnie. "I try and cater to a wide range, to have different styles for everyone.
Styles from Gigi BOTTEGA will be featured in the Pioneer Press Fall Trend Fashion Event on Oct. 11.
Giga BOTTEGA offers looks such as superskinny jeans and arthouse jewelry handmade with semi-precious stones to enhance ornamental yokes found on many of this fall's necklines.
"We put together a style section of our store and we're here to just have fun," Vericella said.
