I found out I was pregnant the day after my husband left for Iraq helping out the soldiers and children as an Army doctor. He would be gone for one year and would miss my entire pregnancy. My friend gave me a gift certificate for a three-dimensional ultrasound, just the thing to share the joy of my pregnancy with my husband stationed overseas.

We at First Peek Ultrasound talked about how great it would be if other families could experience this same joy at an affordable price. These conversations soon developed into dreams and these dreams into plans.

When we first started, seeing your baby in 3-D was technically available but at a price outside of most people’s budgets. In the midst of the recession, we drastically reduced the price of 3-D ultrasounds down to $39 — we were the first 3-D ultrasound studio in the nation to do so — and added our trademarked phrase, “... Now every pregnant woman can get one.”

We continue our mission to make 3-D ultrasounds available and accessible to as many people as possible — through online scheduling to Facebook conversations. Our unique, fun and friendly atmosphere as well as our innovations behind the scenes contribute to helping pregnant women live up to our motto: You’re pregnant. Enjoy it!
