Women's swimming finishes day one of the GLIAC Championships

JENISON, Mich. - Lewis women's swimming completed day one of the 2012 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Thursday evening at the Jenison Aquatics Center.

Senior Ashley Kryger (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard South) finished the 1000 freestyle in 22nd place, touching the wall in 11:04.02. Freshman Elizabeth Ludwig (Byron, Ill./Byron) was 24th (11:10.32).
The women are in eighth place with 22 points after day one of the GLIAC Championships.
