Men's swimming takes third and fourth in 1000 freestyle

JENISON, Mich. - Junior Brandon Drogemuller (Hollister, Calif./San Benito) was third and sophomore Derick Carlson (Norridge, Ill./St. Patrick) was fourth in the 1000 freestyle during the first night of the 2012 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Wednesday.

Drogemuller turned in a time of 9:25.99. Carlson's time was 9:28.91. Both were NCAA B times.

After day one, Lewis sits in second place with 57 points.
