Allendale, Mich. - Lewis University's Scott Tanis (Yorkville, Ill./Yorkville) and Matt Jemilo (Tinley Park, Ill./Tinley Park) may have been the only Flyers participating in the GVSU Big Meet, but they both certainly made the most of their opportunity, as they each claimed NCAA Provisional marks in their respective events at the Kelly Family Sports Center on Friday (Feb. 10) night.

Tanis finished ninth overall in the 1-mile run (4:09.42), while Jemilo was 10th in the 800-meter run (1:53.31).
