Holanda was 10th in the 100 breaststroke (58.85). Senior Chris Bonavolanto (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg/Lincoln), who previously held the 100 breaststroke record, was 13th (59.79). Freshman Brandon Busch (East Moline, Ill./United Township) was 14th (1:00.19) in the same race.

"Peter had the swim of his life today," Lewis head coach Roger Karns said. "He was awesome."

Sophomore Derick Carlson (Norridge, Ill./St. Patrick) finished eighth in the 200 freestyle with an NCAA B time of 1:43.31. Freshman Brett Busch (East Moline, Ill./United Township) was 13th in the same race (1:45.31).

Freshman Tyson Polack (Canby, Ore./Canby) finished in the points thanks to a 12th place performance in the 100 backstroke (53.56).

"Today was our best day of the GLIAC meet so far," Karns said. "We swam really well and had some huge time drops off our entry times. I'm extremely pleased with how we've performed."

The Flyers are in seventh place with 164 points.

"We have one more day to go and I'm excited about our chances at perhaps a few more records," Karns said."
