AGAINST THE GREYHOUNDS - Indianapolis leads the all-time series with the Flyers 32-27. Lewis head coach Lisa Carlsen is 4-4 against Indianapolis since becoming the Flyers' head coach in 2007-08.

LAST TIME WE MET - The Greyhounds defeated the Flyers 82-59 on Jan. 26 at Neil Carey Arena in a rematch of the 2011 GLVC Championship game. Jamie Johnson scored 13 points in the contest.

ONE MORE TIME! - Each game the rest of the season is against a GLVC East Division opponent the Flyers have already played once this season.

SWISH FROM KISH - Madeline Kish has made two or more 3-pointers in six consecutive games.

SPEAKING RECENTLY - Over the last five games, Jess Reinhart (14.8), Madeline Kish (10.6) and Jamie Johnson (11.2) are all averaging double-figures for Lewis.

WBCA PLAY 4 KAY - Lewis will wear pink uniforms on Feb. 18 against Saint Joseph's as part of the WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) Play 4 Kay initiative. The purpose of the program is to "raise breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond." The Lewis women's basketball team is selling pink Lewis t-shirts for $15 with proceeds benefiting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Those looking to purchase a shirt can do so in person at Lewis' final home game againt Saint Joseph's if supplies remain.

SENIOR NIGHT - The Flyers will honor Devon Carbaugh and Medeline Kish on Saturday, Feb. 18 against Saint Joseph's as part of ‘Senior Night' festivities. Carbaugh enters Thursday's contest with 673 points and 456 rebounds in her four-year career. Kish has scored 293 points thanks to 61 3-pointers in her two-year Lewis career.

FROM WAY DOWNTOWN - Since the Flyers' game against UW-Parkside on Jan. 16 sophomore Alexus Grayer is shooting 50.0 percent (15-of-30) from 3-point range.

FOR STARTERS - The Flyers have used 11 starting lineups this season.

FIVE STRAIGHT - Lewis has used the same starting lineup (Johnson, Kish, Nellen, Carbaugh and Reinhart) in their last five games. It's the longest stretch this season with the same starting lineup.

WRITE HER NAME IN INK - Freshman point guard Jamie Johnson is the only Flyer to have started every game for the Flyers.

IT MUST BE THE NUMBER - Freshman Jess Reinhart, who wears the same 34 jersey number of fourth all-time scorer at Lewis Jenny Turpel (1,819 points), put on a Turpel-esque performance on Saturday, Jan. 28 at Saint Joseph's by scoring 27 points. The total was the highest for a Flyer this season. Turpel however never scored more than 20 points in a game during her freshman season. Coincidently though, Turpel's career high of 37 came against the same Saint Joseph's team on Feb. 4, 2010.

REINHART OF GOLD - Since being inserted into the starting lineup on Jan. 14 against UIS, freshman Jess Reinhart is averaging 13.5 points per game and shooting 52.6 percent (51-of-97) from the floor. She is taking advantage of her chances at the free throw line, shooting 91.7 percent (33-of-36) from the charity stripe since Jan. 14. She scored in double-digits in six straight games (from Jan. 14 to Feb. 2). She was the first freshman to score in double-digits in six consecutive games since Darcee Schmidt did so in 20 straight in 2003-04.

ADDING AN ALL-AMERICAN - Hannah Koeneman joined the Lewis women's basketball team on Dec. 8. The name might be familiar to those around the GLVC as she was an American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America Third Team selection as a senior right side hitter for Lewis in 2011. Koeneman recorded a team-high 299 kills with 91 blocks for the Flyers in 2011 and helped Lewis to a 25-7 record. The 6-2 forward with junior status for basketball last played organized basketball in high school.

UP NEXT - Lewis returns home on Saturday for the 2011-12 regular season finale with St. Joseph's. Start time is 5:30 p.m. It will be Lewis' ‘Senior Night' and WBCA Play 4 Kay game.
