The top eight teams in each region advance to the NCAA Tournament. Pairings will be announced on March 4th and the regional tournament will be held March 10, 11 and 13th at campus sites.

The Flyers (14-9, 6-9 GLVC), who play in the Great Lakes Valley Conference East Division, own a regional record of 10-9. Seven of those defeats are at the hands of their GLVC East counterparts, all of whom are ranked nationally and ahead of Lewis in the regional rankings.

"It's nice to be ranked, but it will matter most at the end of the season," Lewis head men's basketball coach Scott Trost said. "There's a lot of basketball to be played and we need to finish strong."

Lewis squares off with No. 25 Indianapolis at 7:45 p.m. (EST) at UIndy's Nicoson Hall on Thursday (Feb. 16) night.
