Linck played a key role last Friday (Feb. 17) in helping the Flyers capture the Cardinal Track and Field Classic title, as she won the high jump with a NCAA Provisional leap of 1.73 meters. That was her second-straight NCAA provisional mark and victory in the high jump in as many weeks.

This is the second-straight week that Linck has earned this award and the third time this season. Linck currently holds the top high jump in the GLVC with a leap of 1.73 meters, which is also good for eighth overall in the country.

"Sami has been trying to move up the national list each week, and she has done a great job of stepping up and improving with each meet," Lewis head women's track and field coach Dana Schwarting said. "She has set herself up with a lot of momentum as we head into the home stretch of the indoor season."

Lewis seeks its third-straight GLVC Indoor Track and Field Championship this weekend at UW-Parkside. Action is set to begin at 11 a.m. (CST) on Friday (Feb. 24).
