“Specialized care.” “Amazing staff.” “Professional, yet compassionate.” “Clean rooms.” “Fantastic experience.” “Wouldn’t go anywhere else.”
These are just some of the comments made on Morris Hospital’s Facebook page when fans were asked to talk about their childbirth experience at Morris Hospital. The bottom line? Moms love delivering at Morris Hospital.
“Being part of a baby’s birth is such a privilege for us,” said Theresa Whillock, manager of the Family Birthing Suites at Morris Hospital. “We are committed to doing everything we can to make each family’s stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.”
As a Level II perinatal care provider, Morris Hospital has all the necessary qualifications to care for women who have the potential or likelihood for complicated or high-risk deliveries, as well as newborns who may require specialized services. This includes babies born as young as 32 weeks gestation.
In addition to the outstanding care, Morris Hospital offers:
Private, homelike birthing suites.
Board-certified obstetricians and pediatricians, along with highly skilled obstetrical nurses.
Anesthesia coverage around the clock for pain relief.
Peace-of-mind for mothers and babies who require an even higher level of care through a perinatal affiliation agreement with Loyola University Medical Center.
One-on-one nursing care, even during labor. Last year, scores from patients placed Morris Hospital’s Family Birthing Suites in the 99th percentile for overall quality of care when compared to other hospitals across the nation using the same patient survey tool.
Breast-feeding support from certified lactation consultations.
