Street closures set for fest

Pedestrian only: Several streets in the downtown area of Frankfort will be closed down to vehicle traffic during the annual Frankfort Fall Fest. | File photo

The following streets will be closed during the Frankfort Fall Festival and some of the days leading up to it when the carnival and entertainment stages are open:

White Street (Kansas to Elwood streets): No parking 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Aug. 28 to Aug. 30. White Street is closed Elwood to Nebraska streets Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.

Oak Street (Kansas to Elwood streets): No parking 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Aug. 29-Aug. 30. Closed Aug. 31-Sept. 2.

Ash, Oak and Hickory from Kansas to Nebraska: No parking at 4 p.m. Closed Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.

Kansas, Elwood, Nebraska (Linden to Elsner), Center, White, Sauk Trail, Old Frankfort Way, E&W Bowen, Carpenter, Smith: Controlled access 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Aug. 31 to Sept. 2 to downtown area. Only vehicles with valid Frankfort sticker will have access.

Parade: No entry to downtown 12:45 to 4 p.m. Sept. 1.

Curfew: 9:30 p.m. for those under 16 everyday; 10 p.m. for those under 21 Aug. 30 to Sept. 2.
