Looking for that special gift should include a visit to the Naperville Art League’s annual Gallery of Gifts holiday show and sale at the Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery, located at the intersection of Center Street and Fifth Avenue. The sale runs through Dec. 15; new works of art for holiday giving or embellishing your home are added weekly.

Fine art, fine crafts and seasonal decor by local artist members of the Naperville Art League and Clayspace Ceramics Art Studio are featured. Visitors will find hand-made jewelry, sculpture, pottery, paintings, fiber art, cards, specialty boxes, tiles and more.

“This is a great opportunity to find a clever, artistic, one-of-a-kind gift for those people in your life who have everything,” said Marilyn Dale, gallery director. “Throughout the show, several of the artists will be on hand to make the experience truly unique. Many of the artworks are functional as well as beautiful — like mugs, platters, boxes and hand-made stationery. ”

As a special treat, Santa will be in the gallery from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. During that time, preschoolers through elementary school age children are invited to Santa’s ArtShop where they can decorate a free holiday ornament, perfect for gifting to parents, grandparents or teachers. Refreshments and prizes will also make the afternoon special.
